# Install Clarity from Source
|

|
Build using `rust` and `cargo`:
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
```bash

|
|
$ cargo build --release
|
|
|
|
|
```

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Install globally (you may have to run as sudoer):
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
|
|
|
$ cargo install --path .
|
|
|
|
|
```

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
You should now be able to run the command:

|
|
|
|
|
|
