# Install Clarity from Source

Build using `rust` and `cargo`:

```bash
$ cargo build --release
```

Install globally (you may have to run as sudoer):

```bash
$ cargo install --path .
```

You should now be able to run the command:

```bash
$ blockstack-core
```
