Rich Trott	d795301025	test: remove unnecessary assignments common.js needs to be loaded in all tests so that there is checking for variable leaks and possibly other things. However, it does not need to be assigned to a variable if nothing in common.js is referred to elsewhere in the test. The main tradeoff for this bit of code churn is that it gets the code base most of the way to being able to enable the no-unused-vars rule in eslint. (The non-tooling benefit is that it lessens cognitive load when reading tests as it is an immediate indication that none of the functions or properties in common.js will be used by the test.) Roman Reiss	f29762f4dd	test: enable linting for tests Enable linting for the test directory. A number of changes was made so all tests conform the current rules used by lib and src directories. The only exception for tests is that unreachable (dead) code is allowed. test-fs-non-number-arguments-throw had to be excluded from the changes because of a weird issue on Windows CI. Felix Geisendörfer	6c5b31bd80	Fix: Multiple pipes to the same stream were broken When creating multiple .pipe()s to the same destination stream, the first source to end would close the destination, breaking all remaining pipes. This patch fixes the problem by keeping track of all open pipes, so that we only call end on destinations that have no more sources piping to them. closes #929	14 years ago
