However, it does not need to be assigned to a variable if nothing in common.js is referred to elsewhere in the test. Roman Reiss	f29762f4dd	test: enable linting for tests Enable linting for the test directory. A number of changes was made so all tests conform the current rules used by lib and src directories. The only exception for tests is that unreachable (dead) code is allowed. test-fs-non-number-arguments-throw had to be excluded from the changes because of a weird issue on Windows CI. Ben Noordhuis	edaf7af30b	test: make test runner multi-arch/mode compatible Make `python tools/test.py --arch=ia32,x64 --mode=debug,release` work. The test runner looks for the `node` binary in `out/${arch}.${mode}/`. Running tools/test.py without --arch makes it use `out/Release/node` or `out/Debug/node` like before. This commit removes `test/simple/test-executable-path.js` because the assumptions it makes about the locations of the debug and release binaries are now outdated. Julien Gilli	befbbad051	timers: backport `f8193ab` Original commit message: timers: use uv_now instead of Date.now This saves a few calls to gettimeofday which can be expensive, and potentially subject to clock drift. Instead use the loop time which uses hrtime internally. In addition to the backport, this commit: - keeps _idleStart timers' property which is still set to Date.now() to avoid breaking existing code that uses it, even if its use is discouraged. - adds automated tests. These tests use a specific branch of libfaketime that hasn't been submitted upstream yet. libfaketime is git cloned if needed when running automated tests.
