Roman Reiss	f29762f4dd	test: enable linting for tests Enable linting for the test directory. A number of changes was made so all tests conform the current rules used by lib and src directories. The only exception for tests is that unreachable (dead) code is allowed. test-fs-non-number-arguments-throw had to be excluded from the changes because of a weird issue on Windows CI. Ben Noordhuis	96a314b68b	buffer: strip high bits when converting to ascii Consider the following example: console.log(Buffer('ú').toString('ascii')); Before this commit, the contents of the buffer was used as-is and hence it prints 'ú'. Now, it prints 'C:'. Perhaps not much of an improvement but it conforms to what the documentation says it does: strip off the high bits. Fixes #4371 .	13 years ago
