## How to submit perfect proposal
- Proposals and corrections are submitted via pull request to master branch of this repo. Your proposal should be a **lowercase named** subdirectory inside `proposals` dir with `README.md`.
- It **should** have all participating regions explictly stated and have transparent wallets for each. Regions are named: AR, NA, SH, EU. There is no regions named AU, AE, SE etc. Good candidates also provide z-address.
- It **might** have pubkeys (btcpubkey) attached to each wallet. Failure to provide pubkey timely might end up loosing spot.
- It **should** have your slack contact nickname(s) visible and noticable.
- Your propoposal **must** have separate section named `Disclosure` where you should disclose any impacting relationships with other candidates, your status as a team member (if you're invited in team chat) and nodes you're currently operate as auto re-elected.
- Do **not** edit this README.md. Ask @kolo to do that.

# Who the fuck is Alice
I am **Alice**, Administrator, Executive Manager and Event Operator at Komodo Platform, as the first female long-term member of the Komodo Core Team I would like to increase the quote of women as notary node operators and this is my election proposal for the 2018’s notary node elections:First I want to introduce myself; when I joined Komodo in March 2017 I I wanted to make videos and work as an ambassador, but after I attended together with ca333 Komodos first Blockshow in early April 2017 in Munich I realized that Komodo desperately needs an event operator and I took over that part.I joined two other events, the Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference in Prague, organised by Smile Expo in May, and in June 2017 the Money 2020 which, was a great experience.
After this I did a lot of background work, that’s one of the reasons I don’t write to much in slack. I stopped attending at events on my own and started handleing the organisational stuff, which includes contact with the event host, discuss details (booth, entry tickets), payments, sign contracts, organise printing material (flyers, business cards, rollups, t-shirts), discuss who is attending at the events, organise flights, accommodation and also the refunds for those who paid on their own.In September 2017 I personally organised the Zurich ‘Banking meets Blockchain’ event. After hard work it was a great success, and we had around 70 participants and afterwards a nice promotion video.I also organize business trips for meetings with clients/team members (flights, accommodation, refunds).Beside the Event Organisation I do a lot of research (and reading to sign afterwards) regarding NDAs and Contracts (with potential partners, employees, exchanges) and I am working with a lawyer on the disclaimer for the Komodo Website.I will publicly donate 7.77% of my total notary node income for Komodo related expenses such as EXPOs, campaigns, bounties, external services, and more. Since its easier to spend/cash out the notary income (provable source of the funds) and another 7.77% will be kept frozen for min 5 years with a timelock. And if i get 4 spots in this election i will additionally airdrop 17.77% of a top secret Komodo Assetchain Project (Gaming Industry) to all my voters.
## Disclosures:
I am the wife of ca333 and a official Komodo core team member (volunteering on fulltime base).

# Bitcoin Benny
## Dear Komodo Community,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ben Fairbank, and I am otherwise know as Bitcoin Benny in the crypto community. A vote for me, is a vote for 2 people and here is why:
### First reason
The Influencer
My name is Bitcoin Benny, which is how I am known across YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. I currently have an audience of approximately 16k YouTube subscribers and nearly 9k Twitter followers. Max video reach of 82k views per video.
I regularly feature Komodo on my channel because I firmly believe in the project and the people involved. I believe this is a project that has amazing tech and largely flies under the radar. I can help by making sure Komodo is promoted throughout the wider crypto community.
### Second reason
The Businessman
My name is Ben Fairbank. I have been a Global C Level Executive for the past 15 years. I have held 3 separate CEO roles and a number of C Level roles across The Middle East, Europe, Asia and Australia. I have largely been a consultant or manager brought in to focus on, cultural restructures, operational restructures, CEX, end to end journey mapping, strategy and also revenue and retention models. My history is predominantly with Telecom providers in fast moving and aggressive competitive landscapes, generally spread across multiple countries. I am versed in media relations and have been a public speaker for many years. I recently finished a corporate contract with South East Asia's largest ride hailing app, whereI helped to continually devise plans to remain competitive and increase market share, whilst continually improving the end user experience as well as balancing the needs of the people who utilized the technology.
Now that I have completed the contract I have joined the Komodo team as a volunteer, to help with dICOs and General Business Management. My goal is to help bring the technology that Komodo has built to the people investing in the project and those who wish to use the technology we have provided.
As an Investor, Influencer and Volunteer on the project, it is fair to say I have both a financial and reputational stake in the ongoing success of the project. A vote for me is a vote someone who can make positive changes on the project and then attract the audience to listen.
Thank you for your consideration.

Chainmakers is formed by 2 individuals, Siu and Jorian. Siu is a team member of Komodo Platform that focuses on BarterDEX and atomic swaps. Jorian is not a team member but has been a supernet community member for many years. None of Chainmakers team members have administered any of the 64 notary official notary nodes before. We have no relation to any other candidates or team members. We are just a corporation being built on top of the Komodo Platform that is looking at notary nodes as a way to get seed capital funding to be able to develop our business model into something useful and innovative for the ecosystem as a whole.

## About Me
I am a UNIX systemadministrator and worked as one for almost 20 years till i quit my last job to be able to concentrate entirely on the Komodo project.
My professional carreer was evenly spread across 3 employers, a server hosting/housing company, a company that was doing software and hardware for air traffic control where i managed the servers of the customers (couple of airports
and some national ATC) and the last time i worked for the german state television.
I entered the crypto space as a simple miner and had my first contact with Komodo when it all started with the swap from BTCD. My main interest was BarterDEX,
so i started setting it up, testing and reporting bugs. I integrated most of the coins in BarterDEX and now i run 2 servers providing some liquidity for all the coins.
I also run 6 separate electrum servers on AWS for BarterDEX and integrated some coins in electrumx-code. Part of the funds will be used to upgrade this electrum servers to better hardware.
I am a UNIX systems engineer/administrator with around 20 years of experience in UNIX. Earlier this year i quit my last job to be able to concentrate on the Komodo Project even more.
* My knowledge: UNIX, Networking, Bash/Perl scripting, Monitoring (Nagios), HA
* My role in the Komodo team: running marketmaker nodes, testing/debugging BarterDEX, running electrum-servers
During my professional carreer, i was with 3 different employers:
* Server Hosting/Housing company
* ATC (air traffic control) software and hardware supplier
* German public ('state') television
I started off in the crypto universe as a simple miner. My first contact with Komodo was end of 2016, when swaps from BTCD to KMD were made possible for the first time. My main interest was BarterDEX, so i started setting it up, testing and reporting bugs. I integrated most of the now available coins into BarterDEX and am now running 2 servers providing 'basic' liquidity for all listed coins. I'm also operating 6 separate electrum servers on AWS for BarterDEX, and have successfully integrated some coins in ElectrumX-code.
In case i will be elected to run one or more nodes, i will invest a good part of the income of the nodes back into hardware upgrades for the aforementioned ElectrumX servers.

# Dwy Notary Node Proposal
You want to participate to 2018 Notary Node elections but still don't know who you'll vote for ?
Here's my [proposal](https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/vote2018/blob/master/proposals/dwy/Dwy-Notary-Candidate-EU.pdf).
## 4 Reasons to vote for me :
**1. One Candidate : One Node**
I truly believe that 64 Nodes should mean 64 different Operators, That's the core of decentralization, and more operators leads to stronger consensus.
**2. 30% of mining will be shared with voters**
Why ? Just because I believe we're just at the beginning of crypto awareness, and even in case of a massive price drop, I can afford to maintain 1 working node without any problem.
In case price skyrocket, people participating to this journey voting for me should be rewarded accordingly.
**3. Independent believer**
I am NOT affiliated to any official team or partnerlist, that means I'm on my own, not having anything more than my personal investments. No conflict of interest, ever.
**4. Technical skills**
Got 10+ years of experience as System Engineer, and have web coding skills. My **node is already running**, and is hosted at a top rated Datacenter, that means i already invested and my proposal is not based on : "If I win, I'll host it for real, in the meantime, I wait".
## About election process
KMD Notary Nodes elections, for 2018 have **no limitations about how much region candidates can participate. This point, to me, should change**, I'm aware that I'm facing a lot of official members, partners, or multiregion candidates, yet I believe there is a need for more people involved in notary tasks. If you believe in KMD ecosystem, just ask yourself : **Do I want to rely on a group of 20, or a group of 60** when the term "consensus" and "decentralize" comes into play?
## Vote Address
**EU** Vote Address : **RKUV7wkP4yTR1suVYLicf4ZaooQzz8u5iR**

Thanks for reading, and feel free to PM me on slack if you got any question.

# Proposal for the Notary Node Elections 2018

I'm happy to announce that I've joined the Dragon Riders Team, for this year's Notary Node Elections.
Besides this particular project, I was planning on announcing two more projects, both of real life use.
However, given the amounts of hollow promises that other teams are making, I'll probably do that only after the elections. Too much noise around voters ears.
I'm going to stick to what we can offer from Dragon Riders **today,** no promises, just work, verifiable work.
Komodo Platform can only go further with solid and scalable technology, and we're here to help Komodo reach that goal - scalability, sooner than later.
Please vote responsible. Don't vote for crazy revenue shares or void promises. Vote for the people who has the knowledge and experience required to make Komodo moon!

# What is IndéNodes?
1. IndéNodes is a [registered company in Neuchâtel](http://hrc.ne.ch/hrcintapp/externalCompanyReport.action?companyOfsUid=CHE-419.492.529&lang=EN), Switzerland. Our activities are fully declared and legalized. It gives us more facilities to interact with the institutions and doing business with the ‘non-crypto’ economy.
2. IndéNodes is integrated in the regional ecosystem (member of the [Chambre neuchâteloise du commerce et de l’industrie](https://www.cnci.ch/), special contact with the economic development department of the Neuchâtel State) and in the French speaking organizations related with cryptoplatforms/currencies (member of the Cercle du Coin and in interaction with other crypto-businesses).
3. We are a team of three valuable members of the Komodo community who work and invest in the Komodo platform since the beginning:
o Lionel Jeannerat @ludom, the administrator of the company and a well-known French
cryptoenthusiast, administrator of the big association [Cercle du Coin](https://lecercleducoin.fr/).
o Thomas Lagane @eclips, the dev who take care successfully on our nodes since 2016.
o Yassin Khaoudy @yassinkomodo, ambassador of Komodo and active member of the community on the forum and social media. He is one of the most famous escrow of the crypto world.
We are also involved in few other businesses to connect crypto and physical worlds: [The Block café](https://www.facebook.com/theblock.cafe.lisboa/) in Lisbon, [Geneviève](https://www.genevieveco.io/) and [Resistant Fund](http://www.resistantfund.io/comingsoon). We are famous in few communities as CryptoFr, Nxt/Ardor and Iota.
## The realisations and projects of IndéNodes
- Management of 4 notary nodes in 2017, we were good enough to hold 3 of them for 2018.
- Organisation and financial support of the Komodo Meetup 2017 in Amsterdam.
- Marketing of Komodo platform on the French communities and in the swiss media: [Matin Dimanche](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6345679782105092096/), [Market.ch](https://www.market.ch/fr/finance-privee/business/details/article/premiere-suisse-creation-dune-societe-entierement-constituee-en-bitcoins-qui-fonctionnera-sans-comptes-bancaires.html), [Romandie.ch](https://www.romandie.com/news/Premiere-en-Suisse-creation-d-une-societe-entierement-constituee-en-bitcoins/871275.rom), [ArcInfo](https://www.arcinfo.ch/articles/divers/economie-regionale/premiere-societe-sans-compte-en-banque-fondee-sur-le-bitcoin-727290), [Repères](https://www.cnci.ch/sites/default/files/02.2018.pdf#page=1&zoom=auto,-158,172).
- Building a business network to connect Komodo to the ‘physical’ world and economy.
- Working to involve Neuchâtel university in scientific research on the Komodo Platform. Contacts are very promising.
- Developing a real Komodo embassy in Switzerland and for the French speaking countries.
- Organization and financial support of the Komodo Meetup 2018 in Neuchâtel, a very promising event.

## Our Campaign Promise
**We pledge 50 % of our revenue towards activities that support Komodo ecosystem,** such as events, meetups and podcasts.
KMD price has to stay above 4 USD for the above to be valid. If the price is below the threshold, then special conditions apply. In essence, the pledged percentage is smaller if KMD price is low to ensure sufficient funding to maintain stable notarization service.

# Libscott Notary Node proposal
![icon](https://avatars2.githubusercontent.com/u/125019?s=52&v=4)
## Who am I?
* Programmer of 11 years.
* Proud to be working with Komodo since 2017.
* Specialist in smart contracts, state machines, data structures etc.
## What am I doing?
I am the author of two implementations of interledger crypto-conditions, in Haskell and C. I have also done the first integration of Crypto-Conditions into the bitcoin scripting language; for Komodo! This was done with the addition of a [script opcode](https://github.com/libscott/komodo/blob/7d937f290e08522beaf10d6ffe237a756a06361b/src/script/interpreter.cpp#L939).
I am designing a [protocol](https://github.com/libscott/hoek/blob/spec/specs/bet.md) for cross chain contract settlements (ie to enable [chips](https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2078449.0;all)).
This protocol will open up a wide range of smart contract possibilities, with applications running on Komodo asset-chains. Additionally, the inclusion of Crypto-Conditions into the Komodo network will provide a high degree of connectivity via the rest of the crypto ecosystem, principally via Ripple's InterLedger protocol (ILP). ILP is a cross chain settlement layer for atomic swaps.
In case you are wondering, the key difference between atomic swaps and cross chain contract settlements is that contract settlements are not atomic, they are backed by on-chain code to verify contract states.
## Why vote for me?
* Running a notary node will give me a broader experience of the Komodo platform.
* The additional income will help me to support myself.
* I am excited about Komodo and truly looking forward to seeing what we can achieve!
## Regions
* SH: `REEGE6drFqGLpxiA1mhfcb5R9MndnaD1cy`
* EU: `RVMtoPmL8SiHCXSceMmxwpScAhDgsVvTZc`
## Node specs
Nodes will be optimised for connectivity and latency rather than CPU power, however, in the case of winning I will run multiple redundant nodes per region.
## Disclosure
Outside collaborator on Komodo, as detailed above!
Thank you!

## About Me
I'm an experienced software developer that's very active in the Open Source community and have been involved with cryptocurrencies since 2012. I work on Open Source almost full time, however I do some freelance work to cover my living costs.
I've made over 2000 contributions to Open Source software in the last year and have lots of my own projects published on [GitHub](https://github.com/lukechilds/). My Open Source modules get downloaded [millions of times a month](http://npm-stats.com/lukechilds).
My Open Source software is used in production by small developers and large companies all round the world. Some examples of companies that are using my software are:
- GitHub
- Ethereum
- Signal
- Facebook
I'm currently working on an alternative GUI implementation for Komodo's BarterDEX with a focus on simplicity, reliability and ease of use. I'm also doing extensive [debugging/testing/security auditing](https://github.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=repo%3Ajl777%2FSuperNET+author%3Alukechilds&type=Issues) with `marketmaker`.
### Contact Details
I'm @lukechilds on Slack, [GitHub](https://github.com/lukechilds), [Twitter](https://twitter.com/lukechilds) and [Keybase](https://keybase.io/lukechilds). My personal email address is also listed on my GitHub profile.
## Why vote for me?
I'm a single individual running a single node in a single region for better decentralisation. I have the experience required to run a notary node properly and securely as outlined below.
If I'm elected I will be able to use the mining rewards to fund my work full time on Open Source and security research. I have many plans for Open Source projects that will benefit both the Komodo Platform and the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem as a whole.
## Server
- 16 Core CPU
- 64 GB RAM
- 1TB SSD
Will scale up as needed.
The server is hosted in Singapore in Asia. This strategic location gives lower latency connections to Bitcoin miners in China without being behind the Great Firewall of China itself.
## Experience
### System Administration
I'm very experience with system administration, I already run multiple nodes for other decentralised networks and have automated the process of running certain network services with my public Docker images.
#### Decentralised nodes
I have a proven track record of running decentralised nodes online with high uptime and high performance:
I've been running a Tor node since 2013. Due to high uptime and performance it was selected to be fallback directory mirror and is hard-coded into Tor's source code.
I also run a Vertcoin Electrum node. Likewise, this is [hardcoded](https://github.com/vertcoin-project/electrum-vtc/blob/44841d9668bd94f0a59fc311575770f29e73f6a1/lib/network.py#L57:5) into the Electrum-VTC source code as a bootstrap node due to high uptime and performance.
About 3 months ago, during excessive Vertcoin electrum traffic, all the electrum nodes went down apart from mine. My node (vtc.lukechilds.co) was single handedly processing all Vertcoin Electrum traffic and keeping everyone connected. [(proof)](https://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/7j8l2h/working_electrum_nodes/)
#### Docker
I have published multiple public Docker images which have been downloaded over a million times.
I also built and maintain the official ElectrumX Docker image.
https://hub.docker.com/r/lukechilds/
### Security
I also have good knowledge of network and application security. I have disclosed multiple vulnerabilities I've found in software.
#### Coinomi Mobile Wallet
I publicly disclosed the privacy issue of Coinomi leaking users wallet addresses in plain text after they ignored my multiple requests to reach out to them:
- https://www.bitsonline.com/coinomi-vulnerability-respond/
- https://www.dashforcenews.com/coinomi-vulnerability-discovered-developers-react-harshly/
- https://cryptoble.win/2017/09/30/vulnerability-coinomi-devs-retaliate/
#### Buttercup Password Manager
I found and reported a vulnerability in a password manager's browser extension that would allow any website to read the entire contents of a users password store:
https://github.com/buttercup/buttercup-browser-extension/issues/92
#### Agama
I found two high severity security vulnerabilities in Agama and have submitted fixes for them.
One was a remote code execution vulnerability giving certain sites the ability to take full control of your computer.
The other was a flaw in the authentication system that would allow an attacker to send you a URL that when opened would transfer all of your funds to them.
I have fixed both of these vulnerabilities but @jl777 has asked me not to go into more detail or publicly post proof of the vulnerabilities until more users have had time to update. He can verify that I found these issues.
#### BarterDEX
I found a vulnerability in `marketmaker`, the daemon that powers the BarterDEX network, that would allow a website to steal all your funds after you launch the daemon. I advised how to fix the issue and it was resolved many releases ago.
https://github.com/jl777/SuperNET/issues/563
## Disclosure
I am currently being funded by @pondsea for my development work on the new BarterDEX GUI. I believe he is also running for election.

We first learned about Komodo while researching fundraising options for the Lumberscout project (s. whitepaper below). We worked with jl777, ca833, PTYX, Nabob and others to get the TALLY assetchain up and running. We've also created an ERC20 TLY token that will use etomic to bridge assetchains.
As an etomic pioneer we will work to bridge the gap between BTC and ETH tokens. All notary proceeds will be used to fund further development of the Lumberscout platform with a special emphasis on live inventory integration of tradable, certified assets.
As an economic operator with "skin in the game", dPoW is not an abstract concept to us. The life or death of our financial ecosystem depends on it. If you vote for us, you can rest assured that we will never compromise your interests, because to do so would be to compromise our own. Over the course of 2018, we would like to see cross-chain dPoW algorithms to keep transaction fees low while adding dPoW redundancy.
Send us your vote2018 !

## [](#tl-dr)TL;DR
[Satinder Grewal] and [Nitin Sharma] are teaming up under the name **Meshbits** to help grow and support the **[Komodo community]**.
Satinder has been contributing by solving various problems for the community, by dissipating knowledge and by delivering on his promises such as BarterDex.
And now by using his personal funds for running **electrumx servers** and notary nodes.
Nitin has volunteered his time to setup stable, automated quality infrastructure for the network.
We intend to invest the revenue from notary node operations in growing the Komodo echo system and therefore **we are contesting in Notary Node 2018 elections.**

### [Satinder Grewal]
Seasoned veteran in Technology and BlockChain space capable of wearing multiple hats simultaneously who has been a Linux Administrator, Software Developer, Penetration Tester, Business Analyst in previous roles.
Satinder has been involved with the Komodo-Platform since the **Supernet days** and has now influenced Nitin in teaming up.
Based in New Zealand.
### [Nitin Sharma]
Seasoned Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer working in a PCI, ISM (Information Security Manual produced by Australian Signals Directorate) environment who in day-to-day work wears the hat of an Iteration Manager, AWS Architect, DevOps Lead, the-guy-who-simplifies-tech-jargon-for-business-people. Nitin is relatively a newcomer in the Komodo Platform space but is catching up fast.
Based in Australia.
## [](#commitment)Commitment
Satinder Grewal has a proven record of going for his passion even if it means jeopardising means of survival; [watch this video].
Satinder has spent countless hours sacrificing sleep and social life while working full time to ramp up his knowledge on blockchain technology.
During this time, he has been quite active in public channels and asked necessary questions while trying his best to help others out.
Nitin Sharma has a more risk-averse approach to following his passion but capable of seeing opportunities. Nitin has previously donated his time for a non-profit organisation which helps educate children who reside in the slums in India.
## [](#notary-nodes)Notary Nodes
* Our focus is on creating a scalable, stable platform so we are using a combination of Cloud and Datacenter based Servers
* Two proficient die-hard automation fans looking after the servers means better stable service.
## [](#what-we-offer)What Meshbits Offer
At Meshbits, we mainly think from a **developer's point of view** and understand where Komodo Platform has room for improvement. Having the capability to do development and create tools and applications to improve the Komodo Platform allows Meshbits team to use it's skillset and funds in the most efficient way possible.
Meshbits will use all the earnings made from Komodo Platform Notary Nodes mining for the following:
* Scripts and toolset for Developers which will help creating independent projects from scratch using Komodo Platform technologies.
* Creating Decentralised Applications based on Komodo Platform technologies.
* Contributing to improve Komodo Platform Infrastructure experience wherever possible. The recent example is the addition of SPV servers which are being voluntarily provided to the Komodo community.
* Creating & maintenance of **Developer oriented documentation** for Komodo Platform technologies.
Instead of offering percentage of our Notary Nodes to our voters, we use these funds to increase the value of Komodo tokens by dedicating our skillset to improve Komodo Platform. That itself increases the underlying value of all KMD cryptocurrency.
It's the developer made applications and services which put a cryptocurrency in demand, due to their use cases. And Meshbits team has the capability to deliver what we promise.
We hope the Komodo Platform users will chose Meshbits and give us the opportunity to not just give the value to our voters only but to the entire Komodo community.
For more details on what Meshbits is doing and plans to improve on Komodo Platform, please read this blog post from Satinder Grewal:
[Satinder Grewal: Improving Komodo Platform](https://medium.com/@satindergrewal/improving-komodo-platform-37c684991374)
## [](#disclosure)Disclosure
* Satinder Grewal is a developer in Komodo Platform team.
* Satinder Grewal's `grewal_SH` Notary Node got auto re-elected from previous Notary Nodes who performed as top 30 Nodes with high Notarisation counts.

**Hello, thank you for reading my application!**
Every month I will donate 50% of the mined KMD to a good cause (Topic: Children (Anti-Child-Abuse programs; Education)).
I will propose at least 3 different projects every month and let the Komodo-Community vote on how many % each project should get.
I won 3 slots in the last elections and did keep them up & stable since then.

## A Little About Myself and Thoughts
Most people know me from the Slack or Bitcointalk channels as @ptx. When I found Komodo it took me about 2 months to begin to understand what I was beholding. As time passed my passion for the project grew and I volunteered for technical support whenever possible. The core team had a position available for support agent in the early days of the project and that's how my story starts with Komodo.
Previously I worked as a marketing specialist and day trader. Additionally I have management experience. I'm not a developer but it's one of my personal goals is to learn the basics by next year. I dabbled with cryptocurrency nearly 4 years ago and became acquantied with the cli of various daemons. Back then I was interesting in "hacking" and dedicated a year to learning how to operate Linux. Looking back I think that's one of the most useful things I have done.
In the past year I was involved in the testing of BarterDEX core. According to JL777, the early testers are among the first 50 people in the world to have successfully completed atomic swaps. I am experienced with all aspects of the platform including agama, barterdex, parallel chains, spv, jumblr, komodod, and notary node operations.
As the Komodo ecosystem grows, notary nodes will become important entities that will play a critical role in the governance of the platform. In order to take this to the next level I have decided to create a legal structure to declare notary node mining.
This means that PTYX Nodes will be registered as a legal entity. This gives me the ability to use notary funds to pay for events, create contracts, hire personnel, and assist the platform when a legal structure is needed to perform a task. Additionally this will raise the bar and formalization of notary nodes candidates and give us the foundation for future governance that will bridge the traditional system and the Komodo-sphere.I envision our future elections as a massive event where multiple entities backed by the users participate to decide the path the platform takes for the next year.
## ADDITIONAL GOALS
- Sponsor at least 1 dapp for Komodo Platform
- Use funds to promote 2 community workshops and 1 hackathon
- Represent Komodo in conferences
- Participate as an active member of the community
- Act as an ambassador to promote the integration of more projects into the platform
- Dedicate a percentage of funds to community bounties for testing, documentation, and development

## WHY VOTE FOR PTYX
- Self Compiled Notary Nodes
- Industrial Servers
- Active member of the community
- Sponsor of the Komodo Workshop 2018
- Sponsor of the Komodo Meetup 2018
- Reward Airdrop - 20% of the KMD generated
from Notary mining will be airdropped for each
respective region to voters who participated
## REWARD MODEL
- All votes are recorded on the blockchain. All addresses that vote for PTYX Nodes will therefore be entitled to 20% of the
mining rewards. You will receive your airdrop to the address you used to vote.
- Your rewards will depend on the number of voters and the size of your vote.
- Mining rewards will be distributed every 4 months.
- The first milestone is to create the legal entity to legitimize mining income. This will be completed soon after elections.
- The second step is to setup a parallel chain to represent your 20% share of the mining reward. This will be completed and implemented by 2019. Ideally the issuance of the tokens will be done through a legal structure in a crypto jurisdiction like Singapore.
- I will provide a report every 4 months on the amount of KMD mined per region to provide transparency.
## CONFERENCES ATTENDED BY PTYX IN 2017/18
- Annual Komodo Meetup (Amsterdam)
- Money2020 Europe (Copenhagen)
- Banking Meets Blockchain (Zurich)
- Blockshow Asia (Singapore)

## Why Vote For Us
**A Competent Team**
We bring together a team of very competent people two of which have an extensive business background and who are more than capable of operating IT infrastructure, handling security and even brand awareness. Juan through his evangelism and love for crypto brings brand awareness to the Komodo Platform. All of his videos carry his "Sponsored by Komodo" introduction which is his exclusive advertiser and sponsor. Juan regularly attends conferences and 5% of revenue from any newly elected notary nodes we get will go to support his travel and marketing expenses.

**Shenlong's Den**
One of the things we want to do for Komodo this year is creating a private fund for Komodo projects and services we like to call Shenlong’s Den.
The idea is simple. You have a project, you propose it to us and make an ask for funding, we analyze it and decide whether or not and how to deliver capital to your project.

The 3 of us at The Galt Mines make final decisions on funding, which I believe will help bring more accountability to blockchain funding of community services then has been seen in other projects like DASH or Pivx.
**Business Strategy and Legal Protections**
Last but not least we take very seriously the disruptive potential of Komodo, both as a way to bring zcash grade anonymity to other coins thru BarterDex, but also as a way to have them benefit from Bitcoin’s security while making their own core development decisions, as blockchains in their own right. This is the great innovation behind the notary system which from my 4+ years of experience in this market is very unique.
And of course atomic swap non-custodial exchange. What else needs to be said? Komodo has serious potential.

We believe it will be important to pay attention to this side of things in the coming years and starting this conversation now with the right people will allow us to be prepared and not surprised if legal attacks do come.
## Election Details and How To Vote For Us!
This year we would like to take on the responsibility of up to three more notary nodes. We have carefully selected what we think are some of the better locations for each one. If we get a Southern Hemisphere node we intend to re-locate it to Chile when our datacenter is complete later in 2018.
Below are the locations and the addresses including a z-address for private voting. Send VOTE2018 tokens to the addresses shown below. Thank you for your support, we look forward to help build the Komodo Platform.
